A retrospective look at the Shelter Residence
[Interface] practicality with modernism and interior spaces with lushly landscaped garden and pool areas.
• Dipped in tropics.
• Illuminated by natural sun.
• Designed for function and flair.
We’ve interfaced sleek vertical fins with generous overhangs—each provides it’s own layer of additional privacy and sun protection. Double-height spaces allow for natural light to penetrate deep into the home while limiting direct solar heat.
Located on Palm Island in the middle of Biscayne Bay, this residence is geared for the subtropical lifestyle.
This two-story home features five bedrooms and six bathrooms along with the customary associated residential programming. The lot is on the small side which further magnifies its stately vertical presence—lending elevated mastery and intrigue to this home.
