Influenced by Telluride’s mining history.

[Harmonize] two existing layers into one spacious ‘mountain modern’ lair, strategically detailed by regional influences and historical hues of Telluride, Colorado.

• Inspired by the locational depth of character.
• Underpinned by influences of an old mining town.
• Splayed out over decompartmentalized dual structures.

Harmony is struck by nestling into what was, while adjusting into the new nature of things.

We’ve harmonized the former framework between two individual condominium units on separate floors into a coupled structure of steel and revitalized spaces. Also unified are the kitchen, dining, and living areas complimented by views into the adjacent master suite. An operable wall partition offers the option of complete privacy for the master bedroom or open views of the main space

We captured the space formerly occupied by a public stair that connected the two separate units. This space was given to the 'great room’ to enhance the overall design.
